Cluster effective field theory and nuclear reactions

چکیده
An effective field theory (EFT) for a nuclear reaction at low energies is studied. The astrophysical $S$-factor of radiative $\alpha$ capture on $^{12}$C the Gamow-peak energy, $T_G=0.3$ MeV, fundamental quantity in nuclear-astrophysics, and we construct an EFT reaction. To fix parameters appearing Lagrangian, applied to study three reactions: elastic $\alpha$-$^{12}$C scattering energies, $E1$ transition $^{12}$C, $\beta$ delayed emission from $^{16}$N. We report estimate $S_{E1}$-factor through $T_G$ by employing EFT. also discuss applications EFTs reactions energies.

Neutrino - nucleus reactions and effective field theory
Effective field theory is believed to provide a useful framework for describing low-energy nuclear phenomena in a model-independent fashion. I give here a brief account of the basic features of this approach, some of its latest developments, and examples of actual calculations carried out in this framework.

Low energy data is generally insensitive to the details of interactions at short distance. It is therefore difficult to learn about short range interactions; yet by the same token, complete knowledge of the physics at short distances is not required for an accurate understanding of experiments. Effective field theory exploits this fact. The effects of nonlocal interactions at short distance may...

At low energies, few-body systems with large scattering length exhibit universal features (universality) that are independent of the interaction details. Some consequences are the existence of a shallow bound state and the Efimov effect1 in the twoand three-body sectors, respectively. These universal properties have a wide range of applications, from particle and nuclear to atomic and molecular...
